Creative Cabinets, Inc. (CCI) was founded in 1983 by William K. Lason in Tucson, Arizona. Initially occupying a small facility and serving primarily the residential market, the company and its reputation for excellence grew quickly. CCI moved into larger facilities, and began serving both residential and commercial clients. By 1999, the company, through steady growth, had moved into a 30,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility and begun to focus on the commercial and high-end residential markets. Today, the company completes an average of $2.5 million of millwork design, fabrication, and installation annually, and experiences annual growth of 20 to 25%. CCI works with owners, contractors, architects, and interior designers throughout the United States on millwork projects as large as $500,000. The company has successfully completed nearly 2000 projects since its founding, a majority for repeat clients.

Creative Cabinets, Inc. occupies a 30,000 sf highly computerized state-of-the-art facility. We continue to be on the leading edge of millwork technology. Some of our specialized equipment includes:

• A Black Bros. Cold Press Laminating Line, capable of producing first quality laid-up panels at the rate of 200 per 8-hour shift.
• A computerized beam saw, which allows us to cut up to 200 sheets per 8-hour shift and up to four ¾" thick sheets at one time.
• A CNC (Point to Point Machine), which does panel processing, drills holes, and routes special shapes.
• An automatic edge bander, which glues and trims edge bands onto laminated panels using a variety of edge materials including wood, veneer, PVC, PLM, etc.
• A spray booth for in-house finishing.

Creative Cabinets, Inc. employs over 30 experienced millwork designers, fabricators, installers, and administrative staff. Our professional staff members average 14 years of millwork experience, and some have been with us for as many as 12 years. Because we have a reputation as a leader in the field we have been able to attract the most highly skilled millworkers in the area, all of whom are dedicated to the success of every project. Together, the staff of Creative Cabinets, Inc. has brought us the success we enjoy as a leading millwork shop, capable of designing and fabricating pieces that many of our competitors dare not attempt.

D e s i g n
Creative Cabinets, Inc. is capable of fabricating a design provided by an owner, a contractor, an architect, or an interior designer. We also have in-house millwork designers, skilled at designing millwork to fit within existing conditions or coordinate with new construction. Our millwork designers use state-of-the-art design software such as Cabnetware and Pattern Systems Optimizer, in combination with the popular design and drafting software program AutoCAD, to design and detail each piece to meet our client's needs. Cabnetware calculates how many of each component are required for each piece. Pattern Systems Optimizer lays out each component on whole sheet of whatever product was specified, allowing us to use a higher percentage of each sheet of material, keeping waste to a minimum.

F a b r i c a t i o n
We produce nearly all of our projects using the metric system. Using Pattern Systems Optimizer specialized software, our experienced project managers design and plan each project. Once the planning is complete, an electronic cut list is sent to our computerized beam saw, and the individual pieces of each unit are cut and labeled. This begins the fabrication process. Parts are edge-banded, and then panels are sent to pre-assembly, where hardware is installed, and drawers and doors are fitted. The product is then wrapped and prepared for delivery. We specialize in frameless or Euro-type construction, but also do face frame construction on request. Dowel construction is used on most of our custom-built millwork. In addition to the computerized work, Creative Cabinets also employs fine craftsmen capable of producing custom-made pieces which require work to be done by hand.

Proper installation is the key to a project's success. Once each piece is completed and ready for assembly, Creative Cabinets' seasoned installers work at the job site to install each piece. We are experienced in assuring that each piece fits correctly, even when field conditions are poor.

AristoKraft is one of the nation's leading cabinet manufacturers, and offers both ready-to-ship cabinetry and semi-custom cabinetry. CCI has a reputation for being the millwork contractor of choice for tenant improvements. We have a great awareness of the importance of a quick turnaround on tenant improvements, and are able to adjust our schedules to meet whatever timeline is required by the tenant and building owner, without disrupting ongoing building operations. Millwork items are often a critical part of tenant improvements, as they include items such as reception counters, storage cabinets, kitchens, bookshelves, and work stations. CCI has the ability to work with our clients to meet their expectations when tenant improvements are involved.
