ASU Noble Science Library
When this university research library was renovated, Creative Cabinets was contracted to install over $100,000 of custom-designed millwork items. These included the new checkout counter, the focal point of the library, which consists of a perforated cherry veneer front, a Corian^TM countertop, and clear-finish oak on the work side; 60 matching 2' x 4' perforated cherry veneer acoustical tiles; 78 online stations which were built into 6 units of 10 and 3 units of 6; three freestanding L-shaped portable desk units, made of cherry veneer with Corian^TM tops, built in modules so they could be relocated or reconfigured in the future; plastic laminate cabinets in the new media center; countertops throughout the work areas; and plastic laminate signage soffits. The purplish cherry stain was custom designed by the architect and matched by Creative Cabinets' custom finish department.
